ACTIVITIES
The Community of Christ Professional
Teachers/Educators organization was originally formed in
1994. Since that time, the level of activity has been fairly
limited - it's hard to keep activities going when the main meeting
time occurs only once every other two years at World Conference. With the Internet as a tool, though, we hope to
change that. Some of the activities currently being
contemplated include:

providing scholarships to students planning
to enter the field of education. Want to

working to raise the quality of
pedagogy in our congregations.

providing informal mentoring
for colleagues of like faith.

networking with sisters &
brothers with similar teaching assignments, sharing ideas &
anecdotes.

addressing projects or
educational problems in our communities or around the world.

providing an annual
newsletter with news of interest to
educator-members and friends of the Community of Christ
Church.
The organization has already
been an active contributor to supporting "Friends
United" in Honduras.
If
